You buy used cars via an auction procedure, just as you are used to as a professional. For vehicles of all types, makes and models, you simply submit your maximum bid.
The vehicles on carsale24 come from all over Germany and originate from private individuals, from experts or from car dealerships as part of a trade-in.
If you do not want to pick up your newly acquired vehicle yourself, carsale24 can organise a cost-effective transport for you and have the car delivered right to your preferred location.
The bidding rounds for used cars last only a few hours to a few working days. This provides planning certainty and you know promptly whether you win the sale from the seller.
With us there are in principle no registration costs or monthly usage fees. Only upon a successful purchase do we charge a small fee in accordance with our current price list.
After a bid is accepted by the seller, the purchase contract is provided already pre-filled. The seller decides how payment and pick-up are to be handled.
In the auction procedure for used cars, you can view at any time how high the current highest bid is. For submitting a bid, this means you should always submit your maximum bid for a car. This is advisable because the seller of the vehicle decides after the end of the bidding round which dealer wins the sale. You submit the bids on the vehicle overview or detail page in the logged-in dealer area. You can increase your bids at any time. In addition, a watchlist is available to you for cars you are considering buying.
The duration of a bidding round varies between a few hours and a few working days, whereby Saturdays, Sundays and nationwide public holidays are not counted as working days.
Please always bear in mind that submitted purchase offers are binding and cannot be reversed. Please submit only gross prices as bids. If VAT can be shown separately for an item, we display this in the basic data on the vehicle detail page and in the detailed information of your active bids.

As soon as a car seller bindingly accepts a bid, the bidding dealer is obliged to pay the respective transaction fee per vehicle.

Precondition for a transfer: the vehicle is ready to drive, roadworthy and fitted with tyres appropriate to the weather.
As soon as you, as a dealer, have won a car at auction, you receive the seller’s contact details by email. Please contact the seller as soon as possible. This email also contains information about whether the seller wishes to receive the sale price in cash at the vehicle handover or by bank transfer.
Please arrange with the seller when you can pick up your new vehicle. At the seller’s request, a handover can also take place at your location. The desired handover location is also communicated to you in the contact email.
